Collaborative’s John Williams to Join Data Integration Panel Discussion

February 21, 2006

WOBURN, Mass. -- Collaborative Consulting, a company that specializes in optimizing its clients’ business and technology capabilities, announced today that John Williams, its vice president of services, and the leader of its National Data Services Practice, will sit on a panel at The Data Warehouse Institute’s World Conference on Wednesday. The panel, entitled Beyond the Data Warehouse: Data Integration for the Enterprise, will be held at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

Williams and his fellow panelists will discuss numerous critical data integration techniques and topics, including data integration approaches within and outside data warehousing; how multiple integration techniques (not just ETL) should work together; and data architecture and infrastructure trends. Additionally, they will examine the blurring of the lines in data integration. For example, they will explain how data integration techniques developed for data warehousing have crept into the general enterprise, and how conversely, those created for the company at large are being co-opted by the data warehouse.

"The Data Warehousing Institute’s World Conference is renowned in our field for its thought leadership and business and technology relevance, as well as its impressive list of participants and attendees," Williams said. "Consequently, it is a real honor to be asked to participate. I know the panelists are going to be asked to cover a lot of ground, but I want to make sure we stress how important it is for a company to select the integration technology that best suits its requirements. That is absolutely critical."
